Foley, Dawson and Edgar

Grammie thought that I needed someone to play with besides Pappy. She had this goofy idea that I was lonely. I had Clara. She would play maybe once a week. I had my window to look out and I was able to bark at all who dared enter my field of vision. That crazy old woman went to the Humane Society one day and brought home this guy. (Foley) He is a nice enough fellow, but wants to play less than Clara. I don't think he has ever barked. He has never chased a stuffy and he is always trying to smell my backside. He spends most of this time on the big bed. He only gets excited when Grammie comes home.

If that wasn't enough that goofy woman went back to the Humane Society a year later and came home with this gentleman. (Dawson) He will chase stuffies down the entry way with me. He does like to play, but doesn't understand my crazed terrier attack mode. ( I will have to get a picture of that one of these days.) Mostly though he likes to chew on himself. I do feel sorry for the guy though as he is getting senile. He forgets a lot. He has to be retaught how to go out the dog door every few weeks. He is very much like that old cartoon character Mr. Magoo. (If Grammie had a clue how to work this computer she would have put a picture of Mr. Magoo up.) Wally might say that he is a perfect match to Ethel.

Now I know some of you pups are going to have a hard time believing this next segment. Someone dropped off this orange fur ball at our house one day. Grammie named him Edgar after her favorite Seattle Mariner. He is smarter than the other two by many IQ points. He taught himself how to go out the dog door. He loves to play. He lets me chase him all over the yard and up the fence. Who would have known that the best play mate would have been of another species!

That pretty much sums up our house. Luckily for me our town has a limit of 3 dogs per household. I am not sure about the other species.

Mom says to say that Foley got excited when she came in the house while we were home and you should be nice to Foley (that was from mom to) I know how you feel though mom brought home Flash and I wasn't to happy. Though he is better then the cat.

wow! Moco, you surely have a houseful of "lame ducks".

My Jeannie is always adopting waifs and strays too.

Your life looks fun!

Love and licks, from Marvin.....xxxxxx

We agree with Marvin; your life looks like one big party! We already knew Grammie was the best, but then you have all those other playmates too!!

We are especially fond of Foley...but then, for some reason, we have a thing for black & whites!

omdog talk about a full house! I dunno about the C-A-T population though, scary!

You have quite a housefull there, Moco! My house is sooooo boring compared to yours. All I have are the artificial stuffed playmates, not real ones.

Whoa! The origins of Edgar's name makes me like him but he's a cat! I am having a big inner conflict here.

You guys have a full house. When you started talking about Mr. Magoo I was worried you were going to compare him to me! Though I am still totally mentally keen, I just prefer the life of leisure.

Hey Moco
Don't worry, my favorite playmate is a c-a-t, too. I love to wrestle and he's fun (as long as Mom remembers to clip his nails) and really good!

Wow, it's like living in a frat house (or is it a cat house? Ha, Ha).

Moco Girl!

I think it takes some cajones to admit that your best playmate is a cat, but my hat (if I wore one) is off to you!

Sounds to me like you are the queen who reigns supreme there at Casa de Grammie. I hope they all treat you right.

Thanks for introducing us to your fur fam. They look like a good bunch!

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
