Senile, Me?

Grammie has returned. I asked her about the many experiments that were done on her when she was gone. She stated, "Moco, you must be getting senile. THEY only come in the fall to do the experiments. You know that. I told you that I was going to take care of the human pups that belong to your human brother." Grammie has been in another city for a week taking care of the youngest human pups while our human brother went to New York.

Senile or not she brought us a treat. (Some of you may not want to look at this first picture since it is in the raw state.) You pups in the know will recognize this as raw beef liver. Yum-O. Lots of iron to keep us all strong. Do we get to eat it raw? No. Grammie says, "I have to cook it up and cut it up." What kind of nonsense it that? We have seen a lot of our buddies eating raw meatables. I personally think that she did have an experiment done on her thinking apparatus. That can be the only reason such a goofy statement would exit her mouth. I transgress. She got busy cooking this wonderful treat. Here it is in the pan and when it was done it looked like this. It has to cool so we will not burn our tender mouths or that it what she tells us anyway. We are going to have it for our dinner with raw carrots. How wonderful is that. Grammie, it is nice that you are back and we don't have to rely on that big red haired guy or as Joe says, "fire monkey" anymore.

Please do not confuse this site with Joe's Mom's cooking site Dining Alone. Grammie says that her food is wonderful and this stuff just stinks up the house. Do I look like it bothers me? I think not.

Grammie is an odd one. We get our liver raw. Just come down to visit us and get some. Oh fire monkey hahaha mom says she is going to call Pappy that one of these days. Mom says to tell Grammie to be careful feeding you to much liver at once it can give you the runs.

Mmmmmm. Liverables. My ma ape often cooks our liverables or my sissy gets the runnyables.

So glad the aliens brought Grammy back.

WOW a whole thing of liver just for you!? YUM?! Mom doesn't like to eat liver, its one of the few things she does not like. Banananana is another, she is wacky. We have been calling Dad a firemonkey for YEARS! lol

I've never had liver! Sounds yummy and stinky!
As long as you have it, don't worry if its raw or cooked!

OMG, we're drooling! We only get to have liver at Thanksgiving when mom is boiling the giblets! We're sending our mom over to read your blog so she gets the hint that she needs to make this more than once a year!

Love ya lots,

Yum Yum and YUM! I'm dying over that food! I have still been limited to dog food in my diet (okay, a bite of cheese and a carrot now and then). Motch needs to turn more senile like Grammy so I can have more diversity in my diet.

And I'm glad Grammy is back to take such good care of you!

So glad that Grammie is back! You guys are really lucky...my Mom fancies herself a veg-y-tarry-an and refuses to handle raw meat, so I've never had liver. I'll have to ask my own firemonkey to make me some.

My mum says she completely understands, so tell your grammie. Do you think the alien ship could pick me up too when they come for your grammie? that would be cool. The old man that ran into her...actually was backing up for a parking spot and mum's horn doesn't work..he just backs right up, doesn't look or anything, right into mums truck...I was laughing.

I don't think I would like to eat that. I only like fresh grilled salmon lightly seasoned. Nice to meet you!
