My tomato plants are starting to grow. It is to early for any tomatoes yet. I go out every day and check the progress. I have high hopes for many, many tomatoes to eat later this summer. (I wish Peanut's girl was here. She is a great tomato picker.) When I went out today to see how they were doing this is what I saw.
Dawson was down by my tomato box.
I yelled, "Dawson, what are you doing? Are you checking on the tomatoes for me? He didn't answer. He got up in the tomato box and this is what he did.
I WAS SHOCKED! What in the world is a matter with him? I can see that I need to have a long talk with him about where it is appropriate to poo. My tomato box is NOT the place to do it. I had to send Grammie out right away to get the poo out of the box before it contaminated the wonderful tomatoes. He is so inappropriate and unacceptable. I don't think I am going to talk to him for awhile.

We agree - that's awesome fertilizer! Our dad planted dead fish around our tomatoes one year and the darn things got 6' tall! We bet poo is even better!

Oh no! I whizzed in my ma ape's garden (she has a box like yours) just before she planted. Just a little pre-emptive watering. I do like to sleep under the mater plants when it is hot in the summer but I would never poo there. I want those maters!
