Where's the Red?

All of you who know me know that I love tomatoes. They are especially wonderful right off the vine. So I ask, what in the world is a matter with this picture?Do you suppose that the one resting by the tomato box has anything to do with this mystery? The crazy old bat says that the tomatoes are just not ready yet. I do wonder though.

Mom thought she had to wait FOREVER last year for hers to turn red (or yellow as she had some of those, too) but they finally did. Waiting is the hard part! OC

I think you just have to wait a little longer. But it wouldn't hurt to lie by the tomato box yourself... just in case...

Good things come to those who wait Moco :)

We've only picked 3 reddish ones so far, Moco! They'll ripen - they will - they just have to, right?

Hmmmm... That's a puzzle but I've been assured by my mom that the green balls will eventually turn red. Sounds nuts to me but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Our tomoato plants are all confused because of the weather. I have been watering them every day myself and trimming any edges that come through the fence.

Well since our girl isn't there I am assuming it's not her fault there are no red ones. Sorry it's taking so long but if I were you I would keep an eye on dawson also.

It's been a tough summer here for the veggies. Too much rain and not enough sun. Hope your green tomatoes turn red soon.

I'd tell you to be patient for those tomatoes, but patience is not one of my virtues so I will withhold that comment.

Have you tried talking to them, Moco?

We have an apple tree and it has green apples. I guess we're having a red shortage in WA too, so it must be spreading to the entire Pacific NW.
